Sauna terms of use

  • The sauna is accompanied by instructions for the use of components from manufacturers (water barrel, wood stove, chimney). Before using the sauna for the first time, carefully read these instructions and follow the established operating rules to safely use the sauna and extend the life of the components.
  • If the sauna is delivered assembled with a set of electricity, light bulbs for lamps can be found in the furnace Firebox. After installing the bath on the site, it is necessary to install light bulbs in the fixtures.
  • After installing the bath, it is necessary to familiarize yourself with the rules for the operation of the stove and the tank (if any) and heat the stove without stones with the door open so that the compositions that treated the stove and the inner surface of the bath are weathered. The heating time is at least 3 hours.
  • Recommendations for removing resin in the bath. Warm up the bath and warm the steam room several times (at least 2 hours) to a temperature of no more than 120 degrees, which is not achieved in real use. The resin will actively melt and flow out of the resin pockets. That resin that cannot leak out loses turpentine and turns into Rosin. Then cool the steam room to street temperature.
  • The cold hard resin is scraped off with a knife or scraper. Where the resin remains soft, it can be removed with an animkhite spirit.
  • Basic Rules
  • To protect the ends of the wood from cracking, it is necessary to additionally treat them with special compounds for the ends or impregnate them with at least 3 layers of a similar protective compound, covering the surface of the bath from the outside.
  • At least once a year, treat all internal surfaces of the bath with special means for the sauna to protect against fungus, mold and woodworms.
  • Carry out external treatment as needed, but at least once every 2 years with protective antiseptics.
  • Treatment with protective compounds is carried out at a temperature of at least +10 / centigrade.
  • Use only dry non-coniferous wood to burn the stove.
  • Keep the oven door closed at all times to avoid sparks.
  • Clean and check the chimney at least once every 6 months.
  • Once in the steam room, you must observe safety precautions. Do not touch the hot stove, chimney and hot water tank.
  • When using the bathroom, do not allow water to get on the glass of the stove, front doors, windows and lampshades due to the risk of glass destruction.
  • Do not leave children unattended and do not allow them to light the stove.
  • Make sure the tub is clean, rinse off Wood detergents after each use, and be sure to dry it.
  • For water procedures, water seepage between wooden profiles is acceptable, which is not a design defect.
  • Drying of the bath is carried out with the entrance door closed and the window with the interior door open at a temperature of at least 80 / C for at least 2 hours, until the moisture in the wood is completely dry in all rooms. When drying, the floor tiles (on which people walk) should be raised.
  • In winter, additional heat sources should be installed in rest rooms in baths with three or more rooms in order to completely dry the product.
  • Ring setting. Be sure to tighten the rings before transporting the sauna.
  • In spring, autumn and winter, as well as during heavy rains, keep the Rings taut, but do not overtighten them. In the dry season, sagging rings are acceptable, which must be tightened, but not pulled. After tightening the rings, during prolonged precipitation, in spring, autumn and winter, it will be necessary to monitor their tension and loosen them when straining due to swelling of the wood. This is necessary to compensate for the impact of the natural expansion of wood on the structure of the bath (distortion of the door, avoiding damage to the wooden profile).
  • Operation of the water tank. The water barrel is made of heat-resistant steel and is used according to the manufacturer's instructions. Make sure the water tank is at least 2/3 full before starting the stove. Operation of the oven with an empty tank can lead to its failure.
  • After the end of the sauna, at any time of the year, do not forget to drain the water from the tank. The tank must be periodically cleaned and rinsed with running water.
  • Using a wood stove. The stove is operated according to the manufacturer's instructions and is equipped with an air supply control to regulate combustion. You can adjust the pulling force by opening the ash pan located at the bottom under the door. Due to too much draft, the stove heats up a lot, which significantly reduces its service life. However, sufficient adhesion must be ensured to properly heat the stones. Ignition position-the ashtray must be extended by / / length. After the firewood burns out, the ashtray must be covered and additionally regulate the combustion of the ashtray, exclude the heating of the chimney and annealed stoves.
  • Rules for winter use of the sauna
  • Heat all rooms of the sauna with open interior doors between adjacent rooms for uniform heating and removal of condensation on the surface of the bath.
  • After water procedures in the bath, dry the steam room by closing the front door and heating the stove for several hours with the interior door open to remove moisture from the surface of the wood.
  • If for some reason it is not possible to dry immediately, then this should be done the next day.
  • Forbidden:
  • Do not exceed the temperature in the sauna above 120 / C.
  • It is not allowed to heat the stove and chimney pipe to a red color.
  • Do not pour salt and oil solution on stones and oven to prevent corrosion.
  • Do not leave undried and wet objects (including firewood and water containers) in the bathhouse due to the possibility of fungus formation.
  • Do not burn the stove with flammable liquids (gasoline, kerosene, etc.).
  • Do not use the sauna under the pour of alcohol.
  • Do not leave the burning stove unattended and do not trust the supervision of even small children.
  • Do not shake unburned charcoal or ash near buildings.
  • Do not use fuels not approved by the stove manufacturer (coal, etc.)
  • Do not use firewood that is longer than the size of the firebox (38 cm).
  • Do not leave the oven with the door open.
  • Do not leave water in the tank after use at any time of the year.
  • Do not dry firewood, clothes and other combustible items next to the oven.
  • Do not change the design of the bath and its equipment.
  • Do not burn the stove when the water tank is less than 2/3 full.
  • Do not move the furnace less than 100 mm from the rear wall of the furnace towards the Fire Protection.
